A thank you letter for event support

For NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania, 2015

Dear Friend,

We could not have done it without you! This month, NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania tried something different for us: a Comfort Food Fest & Celebration of Home. Our intent was to gather our friends and supporters during this beautiful time of year and celebrate everything we love about our homes and hometowns as we raised much-needed funds to continue our home-centered mission work.

In the wake of the spring fire that claimed our longtime office space, this fundraiser was needed to keep our projects on track. We came to you, a talented resident of greater NEPA, for help, and you came through for us with a generous donation or donations for our basket and/or silent auctions. We were able to fill three rooms of the historic house at which we gathered with beautiful, coveted prizes that pushed this event firmly into successful fundraising territory.

This first-of-its-kind gathering was well-received, and we had much fun celebrating the cause for which we work year-round: the safety and security of a home as well as the joy of living, working and serving locally. We’re already excited about planning for next year, with eyes on bigger and better, and we hope you’ll be able to join us!

Again, please accept our sincere appreciation for your generous support of NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania, specifically its Home Matters Repair Initiative, which helps the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged with badly needed home-improvement projects. We are thrilled you partnered with us in this important cause!

Sincerely,
