"I wrote my first story for Sandra Snyder in 2008 when she was Features Editor at the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader and I was freelancing while also on staff as senior editor at TV Guide Magazine. As a Northeastern Pennsylvania native, I was thrilled by the opportunity to stay connected to my home region by writing about its arts and culture scene — and Sandy couldn't have been a better creative partner.

The perfect collaborator and sounding board, Sandy is able to take a writer's raw ideas and shape them into something with broad appeal or laser focus, depending on the story's angle. As my editor, she offered insightful feedback while also displaying an English professor's mastery of grammar, construction and style. Whenever I submitted copy to Sandy, I was certain the finished printed product would be of the highest caliber.

She is a manager who unequivocally garners respect, adept at navigating both deadlines and personalities. And, as every respected editor should be, she is also an outstanding writer. Gifted with the ability to balance folksy charm with intellectual prose, Sandy has established a writing voice all her own.
