A donor thank-you letter
For NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania, 2015
Dear Friend,
You are a difference-maker in this world, and we salute you!
More specifically, we thank you for your recent donation of $XXX to NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania and its ongoing service initiatives through our annual campaign. Your gift means you understand how important neighborhood stability and preservation are to the well-being of our region.
But you also make meaningful individual impact, on folks such as Shirley, who came to NWNEPA this summer asking for help painting her North Scranton home and attending to an overgrown yard. Shirley has trouble getting around these days but still cared deeply about keeping up her home for her own sake and the sake of her neighborhood. She stood side by side with our staff and volunteers and contributed what labor she could every day for a week this summer. Afterward, she could not say enough about the goodness of the community that made her renovations possible.
“It is a great blessing to have these citizens living among us,” she told us.
YOU, too, are a great blessing to so many, dear friend! YOU made this happen!
We’d love to tell you more about where your hard-earned money goes. We welcome you any time for a visit to 1510 North Main Ave. in Scranton. Our development coordinator, Sandy Snyder, also would be happy to meet you off site or show you some of our project sites. Call 570-558-2490 or email ssnyder@nwnepa.org, and we’ll make that happen.
Our successes are YOUR successes, and we love to meet treasured partners such as yourself in person!
Most Sincerely,
Jesse J. Ergott Sandra J. Snyder
